Brynn Garcia, Anastasia Snodgrass, Brooke O'Brien, Cameron Murphy, Ellie Johnson, Ashlee Gallegos and Georgia Jeanneret led JSerra to its first Division 4 girls team championship since 2012 at the California state meet at Woodward Park in Fresno. Garcia and Snodgrass covered the 5-kilometer layout in 18:42.9 and 18:43.3 to place 15th and 16th overall for the Lions, who had five scorers in the top 60 to edge La Canada by a 122-131 margin. JSerra joined Nordhoff as the only girls teams in Division 4 history to have won four titles.
